Mathematical And Computational Forestry & Natural-Resource Sciences is an academic journal dedicated to promoting the application of mathematical and computational techniques in the field of forestry and Natural resource Sciences. The journal publishes peer-reviewed research covering all aspects of basic and applied research, including but not limited to the construction of mathematical models, the development of data analysis solutions, theoretical proofs and derivations, the development of software tools, and the simulation of complex systems.
In the area of forest management, the journal focuses on how mathematical and computational methods can be used to optimize the management and planning of forest resources and enhance the sustainability of forest ecosystems. This includes the establishment of growth models, yield prediction and evaluation of forest planning strategies. In addition, the journal focuses on other aspects of natural resources, such as modelling and assessment of water resources, soil quality, and biodiversity. Through detailed analysis and simulation, researchers can provide scientific evidence to help decision makers develop more accurate and effective management strategies.
