The Journal of Flow Visualization and Image Processing is a professional academic journal dedicated to flow visualization technology and its application in image processing. Flow visualization technology is an important branch of fluid mechanics, which uses experiments and computer-aided techniques to make invisible fluid flow phenomena visible, thereby helping scientists and engineers better understand and analyze the flow patterns of fluids.

In the past few hundred years, flow visualization experiments have made significant contributions to the development of fluid mechanics concepts.
