第三十一天：Thrift節(jié)儉

Thereisnota(no)thriftymanbutbecomesarichmansoonerorlater.Why?Becausehewillnotspendsuchmoneyasisunnecessary.Littlebylittlehismoneywillaccumulate.Tentoone,heisboundtomakeafortune.

Idonotlikesuchmenasspendtheirmoneyinawrongway.Theydonotknowextravaganceisabadthing.Itcanonlymakethemhappyforthetimebeing.Inshort,thriftmakespoormenrichandextravagancemakesrichmenpoor.

沒有一個節(jié)儉的人遲早不成為一個富翁。為什么？因為他決不花像那種不必要的錢。漸漸他的錢就會聚積起來。十之八九，他一定會發(fā)財?shù)摹?/p>

我不喜歡那種亂花錢的人。他們不知道奢侈是一件壞事。它只能夠使他們暫時快樂而已。總而言之，節(jié)儉使窮人變富，奢侈使富人變窮。

第三十二天：Perseverance毅力／堅忍

OurNationalFather,Dr.SunYat-Sen,isthemostidealexample.Hewasdevotedtothe公務員之家，全國公務員共同天地revolutionaboutfortyyears.Hemetwithmanyfailures,buthewasanythingbutdiscouraged.Asaresult,hewon.TheRepublicofChinawasborn.

不需說，只有毅力才能引導人邁向成功之途。換句話說，一個具有毅力的人做工作終是(never...without)會把它做成功的。這真是不易之定理也。

我們國父孫中山先生是一個最理想的例了.致力國民革命凡四十年。他遭遇到許多次的失敗，但是他決不灰心。結(jié)果，他贏了。中華民國誕生了。

第三十三天：Mymother我母親

Mymotherisawomanoftheoldschool.Sheistooconservativetokeepupwiththetimes.However,sheisgood-naturedandtreatsothersincerely.Forthisreason,allherneighborsareonlytooglad(pleased)tomakefriendswithher.Theyconsiderheramodelwoman.

Sheisatypicalhousewife.Shekeepsthe(her)houseneatandcleanandlooksafteruswithextremecare.Sheoftensaystous,"Youcannotstudytooard."

我母親是中國老式女子。她太保守無法跟上時代。然而，她性情善良，待人誠懇。基于此種理由，所有她的鄰居都十分高興和她結(jié)交朋友。他們認為她是模范女子。

她是一位標準的家庭主婦。她把家保持整潔。她小心翼翼地照顧我們。她時常對我們說：“你們越用功越好”。

第三十四天：Wherethereisawill,thereisaway有志者事竟成

Thesecretofsuccess(Thekeytosuccess)isnotsomuchmoneyasastrongwill.Agreatmanisonewhohasastrongwillandanindomitablespirit.Inotherwords,ifamandoesnothaveastrongwilltowin(get)thefinalvictory,hewillneversucceedinhislife.Heisnomorethanafailure.

Itisquiteobviousthatthereisnodifficultthing(nothingdifficult)intheworld.ifyoumakeupyourmindtodoit,youwillcertainlyaccomplishyourend.Thatstandstoreason.

成功的要訣不是金錢而是一個堅強的意志（用notsomush...as）。一個大人物是一個具有堅強意志和不屈不撓精神的人。換句話說，如果一個人沒有堅強意志去獲得最后勝利的人，他終其一生永遠不會成功。他只不過是（用nomorethan）一個失敗者。

很顯明的世界上并沒有難事。如果你下定決心去做它，你一定會達到目的。那是顯而易見的。

第三十五天：Dutiesofastudent學生的責任

Educationistheverythingthatwewanttoreceive.Ourparentssendustoschoolsoastoenableustoget(obtain)knowledgeandachievegreatthingsinthefuture.Thefollowingarethedutiesofastudent(which)weshouldkeepinmind.

Inthefirstplace,weshouldbefilialtoourparentsandrespectfultoourteacher.

Inthesecondplace,wehaveto(must)studyashardaswecan.

Inthethirdplace,wemustnottelllies.

Lastofall,wemustnotcriticizeothers.

Tosumup,theabove-mentionedrulesaretheverydutiesofastudent.

教育就是我們要接受的東西。我們父母送我們上學以便能使人們獲得知識與將來成大事。下面是我們應該記住的學生的責任。

我們應對父母要孝順，對老師要尊敬。

我們要盡可能的用功讀書。公務員之家，全國公務員共同天地

我們切不可說謊。

最后，我們不要批評別人。

總而言之，上面所說的規(guī)則就是我們應盡的責任。
